      At Forbes Landowners Association, our goal is to provide you with courteous, expedient, professional service of the highest caliber. We are dedicated to preserving the pristine beauty of our community and maintaining the appropriate services for all members while ensuring our Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions are upheld.

The new Forbes maps are now available! Click on the icon to view.  The maps are 4 ft. by 3 ft. and have been updated with everything from power lines to boat ramps. If you pre-ordered and have not received your copy, please contact the Forbes office. Color maps are $11.00, black and white are $7.00 and CD's for $2.00. (These prices reflect the cost of postage for mailing.)

DUE TO RECENT STORM DAMAGE AND HEAVY RAINFALL (8-10 INCHES WITHIN 24 HOURS ), OUR FORBES ROADS HAVE EXPERIENCED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE AND IN SOME AREAS COMPLETE WASHOUT. WE ALSO HAVE DOWNED TREES AND TREE LIMBS BLOCKING SOME ROADS. THERE IS HEAVY MACHINERY, ROAD GRADERS AND DUMP TRUCKS THROUGHOUT OUR PARK HELPING WITH CLEAN UP. PLEASE DRIVE SLOW AND USE EXTREME CAUTION.

IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN AND INTENDING TO VISIT FORBES IN THE NEAR FUTURE, CALL AHEAD FOR UPDATES ON YOUR SPECIFIC ROAD.

FORECLOSED LOTS AWARDED TO LOA!

May 6^th, 2009, Benton County; Forbes land owners in arrears on annual assessments were found by the court to be in default and the lots were awarded to the LOA. As of this date, the lots listed below are scheduled to be sold to the highest bidder at a sheriff’s sale. Our attorney estimates that the sale will take place in less than 90 days; the date of the sale will be posted on our website as soon as it has been arranged.

     Our attorney has advised the LOA to bid on these lots up to the amount that is owed including assessments and associated expenses. If a bid from an individual exceeds this amount, the lot will be sold to the highest bidder. If the LOA is the successful bidder on any of these lots, the lot or lots will be sold to existing Forbes land owners in good standing. The Board of Directors has not yet determined the process of selling these lots. We will keep you informed by posting notification on our website.
